Flight

As the moon shines bright

My heart stirs in fright 

Tomorrow brings with it a new fight 

But hope will set everything right 

Going away from me in a flight 

My heart does so clench tight 

Look on does my mind in might 

Fly alongside her does my heart as a kite 

Eventually our paths change left and right 

Disappear does she from my sight 

But I smile for everyone to see bright

Bound by the shackles I created 

Doomed to carry them forever 

A lone man, a sad soul cheated

Out of rebirth, repentance however 

Disappear does many chains once linked 

One day free I shall be whensoever
