Shackles

The shackles of life I do wear 

Unforgiving through pain, never through happiness 

One link after another joins my fear 

Another link disappears with time 

Hopefully when time turns to null

So too shall my fear turn void 

Unless I am shackled by the world 

Unable to leave my love 

Forever binding in pain 

Forever binding in love 

Dark

Bound by the shackles I created 

Doomed to carry them forever 

A lone man, a sad soul cheated

Out of rebirth, repentance however 

Disappear does many chains once linked 

One day free I shall be whensoever 

That happens it shall be as fated 

Not to repeat the same mistakes whatsoever 

To be pure, the void much awaited
